Prawns are an important food source and totem for our people. When the wet season comes the prawns travel up from the deep into the shallows to lay their eggs. Big fish like Barramundi come in feeding on them. We catch heaps of them by dragging nets. We celebrate this time of year and call it “Karrathan” in our Thayorre language.

Freight or postage will be covered for items under 100cm. Items over 100cm need to be dealt with differently. They will be dropped of at Cairns Pack and Send and they will assist buyer. Paintings and prints are placed in a tube and rolled up.
