About Pormpuraaw Art & Culture Centre
Pormpuraaw means "entranceway to a house" in Thaayorre language. Pormpuraaw is a pristine environment located on the Cape York peninsula on the gulf side. We are blessed with strong language, culture and talented artists. We work in paintings on canvas, lino-cut printing, etching on paper and sculptures made from ghost net and other found materials. Our works have found their way into many collections in Australia and internationally.
Shipping policy
Freight or postage will be covered for items under 100cm. Items over 100cm need to be dealt with differently. They will be dropped of at Cairns Pack and Send and they will assist buyer. Paintings and prints are placed in a tube and rolled up.
Refund policy
Refunds are dealt with on a case by case basis. If the buyer changes their mind and wants to return work it needs to happen within 30 days. Return freight needs to be covered by buyer.
