There are many dogs in Pormpuraaw. Most families have a few dogs at their house. We use some for hunting, security and we also keep them as pets. When there is a dog that is not friendly we call them a cheeky dog. You must be careful of cheeky dogs as they might sneak up behind you and bit your ankles. When we are walking around Pormpuraaw we always know where the cheeky dogs live and walk another way. My ghost net sculpture has lots of teeth – just like cheeky dogs.

Shipping costs are included in pricing with works smaller than 100cm. Objects larger than 100cm are not included and the responsibility of the buyer. The centre will get the work to Cairns "Pack and Send" and the buyer will make agreements with them.

Pormpuraaw Art & Culture Centre Shipping policy
Freight or postage will be covered for items under 100cm. Items over 100cm need to be dealt with differently. They will be dropped of at Cairns Pack and Send and they will assist buyer. Paintings and prints are placed in a tube and rolled up.

Refunds are dealt with on a case by case basis. If the buyer changes their mind and wants to return work it needs to happen within 30 days. Return freight needs to be covered by buyer.
