In my traditional languages of Kugu and Wik Mungkan Ku’a is the word for dog and Ngache means snake. Here the Ku’a is running around in the flowers and everywhere he turns the Ngache is there chasing him. We have many venomous Ngache in Pormpuraaw and must be careful when around long grass.
