Pormpuraaw Cultural Uses for Plants is a comprehensive 160-page collection of information and photographs detailing the community’s traditional use of plants in the region.
Over 31 people from the Pormpuraaw community shared their knowledge of the traditional preparation and use of plants to develop the resource.
The book identifies over 100 plants with images. Elders helped to translate each plant name into the three local languages. The common and scientific names were also incorporated for each plant.

Shipping costs are included in pricing with works smaller than 100cm. Objects larger than 100cm are not included and the responsibility of the buyer. The centre will get the work to Cairns "Pack and Send" and the buyer will make agreements with them.

Freight or postage will be covered for items under 100cm. Items over 100cm need to be dealt with differently. They will be dropped of at Cairns Pack and Send and they will assist buyer. Paintings and prints are placed in a tube and rolled up.

Refunds are dealt with on a case by case basis. If the buyer changes their mind and wants to return work it needs to happen within 30 days. Return freight needs to be covered by buyer.
