Holroyd River Fishing Boats

The Holroyd River is the homeland of my mother’s family. As a child we often camped there. This painting is my memory of the fishing boats that were often seen fishing at the mouth of the Holroyd River. I remember seeing them with their nets and small boats. Our waters are plentiful with fish which was a traditional food for our old people. We continue to enjoy catching and eating fish today.

Shipping costs are included in pricing with works smaller than 100cm. Objects larger than 100cm are not included and the responsibility of the buyer. The centre will get the work to Cairns "Pack and Send" and the buyer will make agreements with them.

Freight or postage will be covered for items under 100cm. Items over 100cm need to be dealt with differently. They will be dropped of at Cairns Pack and Send and they will assist buyer. Paintings and prints are placed in a tube and rolled up.

Refunds are dealt with on a case by case basis. If the buyer changes their mind and wants to return work it needs to happen within 30 days. Return freight needs to be covered by buyer.
