This represents the story of Blue Tongue Lizard and why the Hairy Yam tastes so bitter if not prepared correctly. It used to taste like sweet potato straight from the ground up until the day Taipan stole Blue Tongues Lizard’s three wives. Blue Tongue Lizard tracked and killed Taipan to get his wives back. The three women then prepared Hairy Yam (May Ka’ar) for Blue Tongue Lizard but they did not cook it properly. It became poisonous. It caused Blue Tongue Lizard to have diarrhoea. His droppings turned into large rocks. In retaliation, Blue Tongue Lizard put a curse on May Ka’ar so that it now tastes bitter, requiring a lot of work to make it edible. It is forbidden to eat May Ka’ar from this inland story country.

Shipping costs are included in pricing with works smaller than 100cm. Objects larger than 100cm are not included and the responsibility of the buyer. The centre will get the work to Cairns "Pack and Send" and the buyer will make agreements with them.

Freight or postage will be covered for items under 100cm. Items over 100cm need to be dealt with differently. They will be dropped of at Cairns Pack and Send and they will assist buyer. Paintings and prints are placed in a tube and rolled up.
