Tarnanthi Art Fair Online 2024 Participant Terms & Conditions

I/we understand that to be eligible to participate in the Tarnanthi Art Fair online in 2024, we must be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander owned and operated Art Centre.
I/we understand that cancellations will be considered up to the 27 September 2024.
I/we understand that the Tarnanthi Art Fair 2024 will officially run online and live from 18-21 October 2024.
I/we acknowledge that our Art Centre’s online exhibition space must be ready for a test run on 4 October 2024, with a launch on 18 October 2024.
I/we agree to attend the online Art Centre Induction, 17 September 2024 at 11am AEST, to be confirmed.
I/we understand that the VIP Opening experience will be conducted online on 18 October 2024 from 1-5pm AEST. VIP guests will have exclusive access to the online Fair until 9pm AEST on 21 October 2024 when the Fair will open to the public.
I/we acknowledge that no fee will be charged for participation in the 2024 Tarnanthi Art Fair.
I/we understand that the Tarnanthi Art Fair are engaging the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair Foundation (DAAFF) to provide a technical support team who will be available prior to, and during, the Fair to help with high resolution photography and troubleshooting any issues encountered on our Art Centres online exhibition space. However, it is the responsibility of our Art Centre to upload imagery to our online exhibition space.
I/we understand that Tarnanthi does not require any artworks to be physically sent for the 2024 online art fair.
I/we have attached to this application our Art Centre’s Certificate of Indigenous Incorporation and Certificate of Currency for Public Liability as part of the registration process.
I/we confirm that our Art Centre has the correct permission from the photographer for Tarnanthi to use the images provided in this form.
I/we acknowledge that Tarnanthi will use the images provided in this application at their own discretion, for the promotion of our Art Centre and event marketing campaigns. This will include, but is not limited to websites, and promotional material such as advertisements, catalogues, invitations, magazines, social media, television media, press and internal Tarnanthi documents.
I/we agree that our Art Centre must, to the best of our ability, feature the artist profiled in our registration form, in the 2024 Tarnanthi Art Fair online.
I/we understand that there is no minimum or maximum number of artworks that are required to participate in the 2024 online Tarnanthi exhibition but agree to provide artworks of the highest quality standard. Display of merchandise is not permitted in the online exhibition space, however opportunities to link the space to the Art Centre website and social media platforms will be provided.
I/we agree that the artworks displayed in our online Art Centre exhibition space will be shown exclusively at the 2024 online Tarnanthi fair.
I/we understand that Tarnanthi reserves the right to remove artworks that are deemed of poor standard or display a lack of provenance.
I/we agree to manage our online Art Centre exhibition space from 18 October to 21 October 2024, including the weekend, and will reply to enquiries within 24 hours.
I/we understand that our Art Centre is responsible for managing all returns, refunds, exchanges and disputes, shipping/delivery, customer enquiries or any sales related issues in relation to artwork in the 2024 online Tarnanthi exhibition.
I/we accept that Tarnanthi takes no responsibility for the freighting of artwork and that all freight, and associated costs, including insurance, must be coordinated directly between the Art Centre and customer.
I/we agree to fill out the online Art Centre survey that will be emailed to me/us after the event, and that it must be completed by the 1 November 2024.
I/we understand that Tarnanthi supports and encourages all Art Centres to present activities outside of the event. However, in fairness and equity to all Art Centres, Tarnanthi cannot support any individual events held by Art Centres.
I/we agree to abide by the standards of the Indigenous Art Code.
