Wet season usually comes in December or January and can last 5 or 6 months. Before the rains come the land is dry and nothing is growing. The wet season brings life giving rain to us. Plants grow so quickly you can see them grow. Wetlands fill with water from rain and tide. Rivers get so swollen with water that we can close our roads and we become an island. Fish swim inland following the flooded areas. We welcome the wet season.

Shipping costs are included in pricing with works smaller than 100cm. Objects larger than 100cm are not included and the responsibility of the buyer. The centre will get the work to Cairns "Pack and Send" and the buyer will make agreements with them.

Pormpuraaw Art & Culture Centre Shipping policy
Freight or postage will be covered for items under 100cm. Items over 100cm need to be dealt with differently. They will be dropped of at Cairns Pack and Send and they will assist buyer. Paintings and prints are placed in a tube and rolled up.

Refunds are dealt with on a case by case basis. If the buyer changes their mind and wants to return work it needs to happen within 30 days. Return freight needs to be covered by buyer.
