The Wandjina is highly respected by the people because it gave the law, culture and language. The Unguds represent the dreaming of the people which the Wandjina has given. The Ungud is given before birth to the parents, grandparents aunts or uncles of a child, through dreams, or it may come as a living animal. This is considered as a gift from the Wandjina to the parent, the animal becomes a gift to the unborn child which the child belongs to. When the child dies it goes back to being that animal. Today every individual has their own animal that belongs to them.

All goods need to be paid for before we dispatch. Any damage through delivery will be the responsibility of Australia Post and or their contractors or agents.
Please be aware there may be some colour variations in the electronic visual representations of Artworks. We do not provide refunds for artwork that leaves our depot. We work hard to make sure that you as our customer receives value for money and that your goods are delivered in a timely and expedient manner.
Mowanjum Art and Culture Centre does not issue refunds or returns for change of mind. If an item does not match what you ordered or is damaged please contact us and we will assess the situation, processing a refund and return where appropriate.
