Patsy Smith is a Victorian Indigenous Taungurung artist whose work reflects themes of displacement, reconnection, cultural heritage, community, tradition and pride. Her imagery draws the viewer in and encourages an emotional response to the work. It is reflective, strong and has honest integrity.

This work was created during a stencil workshop with Melbourne street artist Regan Tamanui and was created with local ochre and ochre from Gariwerd collected traditionally and traded.

Patsy particularly liked how she was able to raise the footprints with the ochre.  Because of the raised nature of the ochre, care will need to be taken in the delivery process.
