Roslyn has depicted designs associated with her grandfather and father’s country, Wantupunyu, a Kapi Tjukurrpa (water dreaming) site to the north of Papunya, west of the sacred mountain Karinyarra. There is an important waterhole there where the custodians are of the Nampitjinpa, Nangala, Tjampitjinpa and Tjangala skin subsections. Water dreaming sites are important for the regeneration of nature. The water makes the country green and brings a lot of ‘bush tucker’ foods for the people and the animals. The heavy rain usually comes in the summer time. When the lightening can be seen at a distance, the elders will start singing to the lightening, encouraging it to bring more rain to replenish the land. In her paintings, Roslyn depicts clouds, rain drops, lightening, rainbows, puddles and bush flowers.Roslyn sees her paintings as vehicles to pass down the stories of the country to to her children and the future generations.

- Domestic orders: Shipping has been included in the total sale price.
Larger works are posted using a courier and smaller works through Australia Post. Postage includes signature on delivery. - International orders: We will contact you and invoice for additional shipping costs once you have completed the purchase. - Please note that all artworks will be shipped un-stretched and rolled unless otherwise specified in the description.
- Handling time: Due to staff capacity, your order will be posted between October 20th and October 29th. This allows us 7-10 business days to process and pack all orders after the art fair has concluded, while we continue to support artists in the studio and our day-to-day operations.
