Wynona Fielding

My Name is Wynona Fielding, I am 24 years of age and i was born in the town of  Port Augusta but grew up in my grandmothers country, Cooper Pedy. I have always liked painting and as a little kid I was interested in art. My Grandmother was really good at arts and sewing. During school is when I realised i was a good drawer, so i started to teach myself more. Now I live in Adelaide and when I heard heard about Cooper Pedy artists working with APY Gallery i wanted to join in.

My Paintings are of things that remind me of Cooper Pedy and remind me of my grandparents. What inspires me is the landscapes and many colours of the hills, sand and dust in cooper pedy. I have a 3 year old daughter and I aspire to teach her art once she’s older.
