Rosalyn Julie Brumby

Maruku Arts

Julie Roslyn Brumby is Anangu, an Aboriginal person from the Central Desert of Australia who did her first art for Maruku in 2017, learning from her grandmother, experienced artist, Kunbry Peipei. She grew up in the community of Mutitjulu where her family played an important role in the running of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. She now lives in Kaltukatjara, Docker River. Her skills have been passed on through the Tjukurpa, the Law and way of life governing her country.
