Priscilla Singer
Iwantja ArtsPriscilla Singer is the daughter of Kunmanara (Sadie) Singer, who was a founding artist of Iwantja Arts, a strong leader and a pioneering woman on the APY Lands.
Priscilla completed her senior years of high school in Adelaide and has continued to train extensively through her role at the Indulkana Anangu School where she has worked for many years, firstly as an AEW (Anangu Education Worker) and now as the school’s Anangu Coordinator. Priscilla has played a significant role in the school’s bilingual learning strategies and the integration of cultural activities into the school curriculum.
During her time working at Iwantja Arts, Priscilla has worked alongside her mother and other family members across a wide range of mediums and techniques, including linocut, batik and painting. In recent years, Priscilla has established herself as a dedicated painter and a leader of women’s collaborative projects.
