Nyanu Ken

Nyanu starting painting with Minymaku Arts in 2003. She likes to paint bush flowers, kampurarpra or bush tomato and honey ants.

Nyanu’s mother is Iluwanti Ken, senior artist, weaver and punu maker at Tjala. Nyanu has worked on family collaboratives with her mother, sister and daughters and has helped with her mother’s weaving for her solo show ‘ We are like the swallows and eagles’ at APY Gallery Sydney.
