Muna was born in Tjiwuru near Ernabella in 1964. Muna started painting at Tjurma Homelands Art and Craft Centre before coming to work at Tjala Arts. Today Muna paints exclusively at Tjala Arts in Amata with her sister Janie Kulyuru. She developed her own vibrant, distinctive style, telling the story of her Country and its important cultural stories.
