Lana Nangala Quall is a Jawyon and Gurindji woman from N.T. and is now in retirement after working in education for over 30 years. Lana learnt about preparing and dying pandanus for weaving in Jawoyn country and learnt stories about country and cultural knowledge of the bush. She learned about all the bush foods and medicine from her Grandmothers and Mothers in Jawoyn country and Victoria River country. Lana studied visual art at Tauondi College and at UniSA. Her art practice involves painting, weaving, jewellery making with seeds and beads. She also loves print making and soft sculpture.
