“Me and my sister, Alicia Mardday and my aunty Patricia, we all were weaving together.

My mum taught me how to weave, but she passed away. I grew up at Namargardabu Outstation, which is also my country, there and Marrkolidjban. That’s where I learnt how to weave from my mum her sister and my grandmother.

We got three dreaming, birndu (mosquito), baladj (leech) & namardakudji.”
