Katie Walatinna

Katie was born and grew up at the Indulkana Community on the APY Lands. Katie attended the local Indulkana School with her brother and sister. After completing year twelve, Katie began painting at the Iwantja Arts Centre. Katie paints in the women’s studio working alongside her mother Jeannie Walatinna and extended family.

Katie paints the rugged bushlands that surround her home at Indulkana and also the landscape near her families Country at the Walatinna Homelands.
