Jameson Casson is a Tennant Creek based artist from Ali Curung, he speaks Warlpiri, Warumungu and Alyawarr. A well known member of the Tennant Creek community, Jameson is passionate about sport, music and faith, he is a long standing member of the Tennant Creek branch of Australian Aboriginal Ministries. Jameson’s work is significantly influenced by religion, his paintings are notable for the heavy use of dotting and the enduring presence of the three-arched symbol of God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).
