Ingrid Williams

Ingrid Williams was born in 1999 and is one of the next generation of painters at Tangentyere Artists. She is the granddaughter of artist Marjorie ‘Nunga’ Williams, who she sits with and learns from at the art centre. Ingrid has painted figurative landscapes and also produced non-figurative works depicting Country, “Tempe Downs. my grandmother’s mother’s father’s Country”.

This is Ingrid’s first time presenting work at Tarnanthi Art Fair, an important opportunity to experience first hand the viability of working with the art centre!
