Imiyari Adamson

Imiyari (Yilpi) Adamson is a Pitjantjatjara woman based in the small community outstations of Nyapari and Ulkiya, near Amata on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Lands of northern South Australia. She comes from a family strong and proud in their carving traditions and is also an accomplished artist in many other media including painting. She makes woven grass baskets and animals, painted ininti seed jewellery, beanies, ceramic and batik works.
