Hayley O'Toole

Hayley O’Toole is an emerging artist from Umoona Art Centre in Coober Pedy. Hayley began painting in mid-2021 and depicts her country through her paintings.

Hayley says: “My paintings represent some of the stories that have been passed down to me from my elders about my culture. These stories are from Coober Pedy and the surrounding areas. As a child when I was growing up, I would sit and watch my family members create different artworks and they would share stories. Now as an adult, I am inspired to paint the same stories.”
