Esther Giles

Esther Giles lives and works between Tjukurla Community and Wanarn Community. In her early years as an artist, she made baskets and her weaving was highly regarded. She is also a highly regarded painter who made her name painting for Tjarlirli Art, of Tjukurla; her home country. Now, she paints for Warakurna Artists as part of the out reach program at Wanarn Aged Care, and paints for Tjarlirli Art when she returns home to Tjukurla for family visits.
