Christine Brumby

Christine Brumby is based with her extended family at Mutitjulu within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Her family have a strong involvement in looking after their traditional country and Christine was a Senior Tour Guide for the locally owned Maruku Arts Tours, interpreting the Tjukurpa of Uluru and her cultural traditions. She has been painting as an ‘artist in residence’ for many years both with Walkatjara and Maruku Arts.

Mrs. Brumby was one of the artists contributing to the painting that frames the statement of the heart.

Due to her ill health she lives now at Mutitjulu Aged Care. Her sister Valery is looking after her.
