Cecelia Yakiti

Cecelia is based with her family at Mutitjulu in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Her family has always had a strong involvement in looking after traditional country and Cecelia continues this with her work as a Maruku tour guide. She also helps run dot-painting workshops teaching visitors about traditional and contemporary symbols, tools, language and culture. As well as working with Maruku, Cecelia paints with Walkatjara Arts, Uluru.
