Betty Nyuntungku

Betty was born in 1957. She is from Mimili Community but lives in Port Augusta. Betty paints the waterholes near Mimili community where she grew up, She knew that water was an important part of survival, Betty knows how to find the rockholes and take care of it . She visits these rockholes regularly and takes her grandchildren. Her paintings reflect the journey through her land, over rocks and hills, to find the waterholes.
