Beverley Cameron

APY Art Centre Collective

Beverley was born in a creek at Ayeronga in 1957. She is of both Pitjantjatjara and Luritja language groups. Her father’s country is Tjimpi Downs and her mother’s place is Ayeronga. Beverly returned to live at Fregon in 2014.

She lives with her daughter Carol Stevens, who is also an artist at Kaltjiti. The Kaltjiti Art Centre located in the Kaltji Community at Fregon is on the APY Lands, 350km SE of ULURU. This country of spinifex plains and sandhills is 30km south of the majesc Musgrave ranges.

Prior to 2014 she lived at Nyapari Commuity and painted at Tjungu Palya.
