Betty Brown Nungarrayi

Betty Brown is the youngest daughter of Narlie Nakamarra. She was born in Alice Springs, but grew up in Papunya where she attended primary school. Betty did her high school years at Yirara College in Alice Springs where she started to paint. Narlie’s dreaming relates to the country and Ancestors at Kalipyinpa, whereas Betty’s are the Tjupi or Honey Ant Ancestors. Betty is studying at Bachelor College to improve her English and writing skills.
