Since starting with Ngaruwanajirri Arthur has developed his carving, taking great pride in making up his own ochre colours that he beautifully applies.

Carved heads and delightful birds, in particular cheeky and cheerful Jorrijorringa (kookaburra) are his main subject matter as well as working with the other carvers to create large tutini (poles).

More recently Arthur has been making ancestral figures based on the Tiwi myths of Purukapali and Bima.
