About Arlpwe Art and Culture Centre

KAYTETYE, ALYAWARR, WARAMUNGU & WARLPIRI MOB. WORKING ON KAYTETYE COUNTRY.

Arlpwe (pronounced Ahl-boa) sits on Kaytetye Country in Ali Curung, an Aboriginal community about 400km north of Alice Springs.

We are a 100% Aboriginal owned non-for-profit, comprised of artists from the Kaytetye, Alyawarr, Warlpiri and Warumungu nations.

Arlpwe refers to the "this Country all over, no waterhole, no rivers, only soakage and spinifex Country". Ali Curung, or Alekarenge, means 'belonging to the dog' referring to the dog dreaming site that the town sits upon.

Shipping policy

Domestic freight costs are included in the sale price of artworks. For international customers, we ask that you contact us before purchasing or purchase with the knowledge that additional freight costs may be incurred at a later date.

We aim to have all works packed and freighted by the end of October. Larger works may need to be taken to Alice Springs for freight, so they can take longer.

Refund policy

All sales are final. Refunds will be granted only if the artwork is damaged in transit or if there is a reasonable discrepancy between the image provided online and the artwork received, as judged by Arlpwe.
